Are you a Python engineer with experience in data wrangling?
Are you looking to make an impact on a greenfield project?
We're working with a small software consultancy who are building a reputation for exceptional delivery. This is an opportunity for you to join their flagship project working in the energy sector. As a Python engineer, you will be joining a newly formed team. You will be responsible for designing and delivering a new system to replace an existing data warehouse project with something that better serves the needs of other teams in the company as well as 3rd party suppliers.
You are confident in your ability to rapidly deliver value by understanding the current system and designing the future one. You will also work to set day-to-day best practices and standards for the rest of the team.

What We’re Looking For:
Experience of building backend services in Python would be great if you have any Node experience as you will be facing off to a Node / TypeScript system
You would have worked closely with data engineers previously or, better still have spent some time on working as a data engineer at some point
Experience in designing microservices
Cloud experience in GCP would be perfect but AWS and Azure will also be considered.
Nice to have's
Willingness to do Full Stack work
Experience with React
Experience with Big Query

Any flexibility on the rate? Nope, sorry. As we are recruiting UK wide and offering remote we are confident we will find someone great in budget.
Will you consider people outside the UK? No the project includes working with customer data for a publicly traded company, and so this is not an option.
