Full Stack Engineer
UK - Remote
You’re a curious full-stack engineer with a strong product mindset. You don’t just solve problems—you question why they exist in the first place.
To you, bugs aren’t nuisances; they’re puzzles waiting to be solved. Your mind is always wondering, "How can this be improved?" or "What if we tried it this way?"
You’re driven by a desire to understand the underlying principles of complex systems and aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo.
Now, imagine being part of a journey with a team of exceptional engineers, working on a product that’s transforming how people create and experience audio content—whether they’re indie podcasters or marketing powerhouses.
Eighteen months ago, this start-up set out to revolutionize podcasting and audio creation for the masses, aiming for broadcast-quality content in an easy-to-use and manipulate interface. Today, they’re well on thier way to building the "Canva for audio creation," a platform where anyone can craft professional-grade voice content with ease—and, of course, it integrates AI.
This role is for you if you are:
- A Systems Thinker: You critically assess existing structures, understanding why before deciding how to reshape them
- An Owner: When you spot a bug, you don’t file a ticket — you take responsibility for the solution, whether it’s a quick fix or a full on architectural overhaul
- A First-Principles Engineer: You thrive on breaking problems down to their core principles, even if it means discarding established "standards"
- A Polyglot Builder: You’re comfortable switching between Python-based AI pipelines and React frontends, with databases firmly in your wheelhouse
You’ll be tackling multiple frontiers at once:
- Scaling with Ease: Architecting atop a Foundation Model that scales as smoothly as the product vision
- Staying Ahead: Solving the "Stickiness Paradox" by refining an interface and features that users don’t even know they need yet
- Human Touch: Bridging the Uncanny Valley by creating seamless speech/music integration that feels human, not algorithmic

Flexibility: You can work remotely most of the time but the team do like to get together in person about once a month
